I am a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and Feeding Therapist based in NYC. I am ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certified and hold a TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification. I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Columbia University, Teachers College. My past experiences have included working with infants, toddlers, and school age children in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, schools, and Early Intervention. I currently work at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai providing therapy to children with hearing loss as well as privately to children with various communication difficulties. I am trained in a number of specialized treatment methodologies, including PROMPT, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for Speech Motor Learning, The Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment Approach, Sounds in Motion, Auditory Verbal Therapy, Social Thinking, and Collaborative Problem Solving. I believe in utilizing various therapeutic techniques to help your child achieve his or her communication goals.
