• Preparing monthly budgets and working with payroll and accounting departments to monitor monthly expenditures and revenue. • Ensuring all clients receive quality customer experience and requesting feedback on ways to improve customer service and ongoing experience. • Provide online financing options for vendors and students by working alongside the accounting department to set up payment plans. • Tacking online trends and monitoring customer patterns to cater to the products in-store. • Engages in active staff training related to safety protocols and establishing employee compliance guidelines.• Performing a variety of duties relating to cash sales, credit card purchases, reordering, invoicing, stocking, and pricing of merchandise in the bookstore.• Handles refunds for returned items and purchases used textbooks according to guidelines; does related work as required. • Working on Excel spreadsheets to track monthly and annual budgets, track trends and monitor inventory levels. • Assists clients in selecting merchandise; greets customers; takes customer orders for specialty items; operates cash register, and processes charges on Visa or Mastercard.• Maintaining accountability for the accuracy of cash and charge transactions.• Reorders, stocks, and prices a wide variety of, sportswear and a variety of clothing and other items. Creating and designing store displays and promotions.• Processing refunds for returned merchandise, purchasing used textbooks according to clear guidelines and preparing purchase orders.
