I process returns for over 200 companies, and help plan and run charity initiatives. My duties include:• Planning and running charity events to promote Corporate Disks community efforts. My first event was the 3rd annual Corporate Disk sponsored United Way Concert, which I aptly named United We Rock. I planned and executed every facet of the event, from writing the letters of intent to promoting United We Rock on Facebook. The concert took place in May 2016 and featured three local bands, as well as numerous raffle items donated by local companies. The event brought in over $1200 for the United Way of Greater McHenry County and won the Innovative Campaign Award at the United Way annual dinner.• Opening all products, entering data, confirming contents and repackaging as necessary• Writing and distributing e-mails to managers and sales representatives to ensure all returns are being completed in a correct and timely manner

I assisted the fulfillment department in all areas of operation. My main duties included:• Creating Excel inventory reports to ensure smooth operation of the Fulfillment Department• Executing the yearly purge report to enable optimal use of the companies’ warehouses• Helping in various fulfillment positions, including inventory control and counts, packing and picking, shipping and data entry.

During the busy holiday months (from October to December) I assisted Theme Party Queen with all its social media needs. I helped the party planning web site by:• Posting updates for Facebook, which steadily increased the pages number of fans• Researching and adding creative content to Pinterest which helped grow audience participation• Creating and organizing content for the bi-monthly newsletter• Discovering similar web sites and blogs and creating relationships with them to expand audience

Assisted customers with all their financial needs. Also helped with promotional needs for the branch, to help retain customers and bring in new ones. Promotional tasks included:• Updating and creating content for the in-store board which highlighted current deals• Running "Customer Appreciation Days" which included refreshments and drawings for US bank customers to promote morale• Encouraging businesses to sign up for our "Business of the Month" feature board to strengthen corporate relations

Wrote editorials and reviews on specific video games, as well as the video game industry as a whole.

Helped run the store by completing daily responsibilities and delegating tasks when the manager was unavailable. Assisted the Marketing Director with various projects, including:• Running midnight pre-sale events for various games, the most successful being the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 event. The event featured a live gaming contest, sold over 200+ games in a two hour period, and brought in the most midnight game sales for the store ever.• Setting up and running booths at various conventions, to help promote the store• Partnering with local community businesses and events and volunteering time to help run different gaming areas at the events• Arranging promotional game material in an eye-catching manner

Worked with the Network Charter School to help increase local awareness and promote a positive brand image. Conducted primary and secondary research (including focus groups and interviews) for the arts-driven charter school and helped write a one-year public relations plan. Assisted in launching the PR plan by: • Constructing and distributing media kits to over 40 local businesses • Designing an original Adobe InDesign newsletter template for NCS to use on a monthly basis • Creating a social media presence for the school on numerous platforms • Planning and running a benefit show for the school that featured student art and music. All proceeds raised help to benefit student run programs.

Helped to ensure Grrrlz! Rock (an annual concert series in Oregon that celebrates and promotes women participation in the music industry) had a successful year by: • Writing and editing news and press releases • Editing band biographies, constructing stage layouts and selling tickets. • Acting as stage manager for the second concert of the series, where I succeeded in running a smooth and efficient show
