Hello! I am a senior engineer and early-stage investor with domain expertise in medical devices, biotechnology, digital and consumer health, materials science, healthcare data LLMs, climate technology and manufacturing. I’ve always been passionate about making innovative healthcare products and services more accessible, equitable, efficient and patient-focused. I have almost a decade of R&D, manufacturing and quality engineering experience. I have worked for industry leaders: J&J, Medtronic, and Abbott, and for a Series B biotech start-up in the neurotechnology space (backed by Khosla Ventures). I started investing as a venture scout for early-stage fund Necessary Ventures in 2022 while working as an engineer, and earlier this year I was promoted to Venture Partner. To facilitate deal flow, I advise young start-ups and aspiring founders voluntarily and I'm one of the youngest judges for Medtech Innovator - the world's leading medical device and health tech accelerator. I have a solid understanding of iterative development practices, incorporating user needs into robust requirements, product risk assessments, design verification, and regulatory strategy/ documentation. With my involvement in venture capital and technical background, I hope to help passionate founders bridge the gap between their novel research ideas and the related clinical market applications.
