In September 2021 I successfully completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Marine Biology) at Deakin University Waurn Ponds/Queenscliff. In 2009 I completed a Bachelor of Physical and Outdoor Education at La Trobe University in Bendigo, with a Diploma of Education. These degrees have given me valuable transferable skills and knowledge relevant to working in business administration. I have gained skills with individual and group/team assignments, with a large amount of hands-on field work, and academic scientific reporting, as well as technical experience in R analysis, ArcMap GIS and the Microsoft Office Suite. I have proficient use of the internet and professional email with internal and external stakeholders. Completing a second degree in a field that inspires me, has motivated me into an alternative career path, where I can continue to develop professionally and personally, and have more influence on connecting people to parks and conserving our special places. I am a well-balanced person who has made the most of my opportunities throughout my life. I have a strong work ethic, am flexible, a considerate team player and I take pride as being an all-rounder as I am often thrown in ‘the deep end’ and thrive on the challenge. My diverse employment and tertiary experiences have characterised and shaped the individual I am today and further enhance my leadership, problem-solving skills, self management, confidence, creativity, and strategic thinking. I use my initiative, am self- managed and am considerate and respectful of others.
