As a member of the Myanmar Human Rights Project at Yale Law School's Schell Center, I am involved in producing in-depth memos on human rights issues in Myanmar. This project, supporting the UN Special Rapporteur's mandate, examines the profound impacts of the 2021 military coup, particularly on women, girls, and LGBTQ individuals. My role includes research and analysis on gender-based violence and the response of non-state actors to human rights abuses in conflict-affected areas, contributing to a thematic report on these critical issues.

I'm part of a team documenting human rights abuses in Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia post the 2020 conflict. I'm preparing for a fact-finding mission to Armenian border towns, where we'll gather vital testimonies. This effort feeds into a comprehensive report for the UN and a digital archive, highlighting the conflict's impact.

I lead our mission to transform menstrual health in Nepal's rural areas. We're addressing cultural taboos and economic challenges in Syangja, empowering women and girls through education and sustainable practices. Our initiatives include creating an organic reusable pad production house, promoting economic self-sustainability, and advocating for eco-friendly menstrual products. We're committed to changing societal perceptions around menstruation, fostering empowerment, and sustainability in the community.

Operate the front desk of the office to answer calls and emails, and assist the Head of College and Dean in any task they may need. Work in the packaging center to help students receive packages. Aid the office in programming hosted by the college.

In my role as a UN Millennium Campus Director, I helped 5 steer projects that align with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. As a fellow, I further developed and progressed my social entrepreneurship venture, Pyari, an NGO based in Syangja, Nepal that focuses on menstrual health/ education and reusable sanitary pad production to alleviate the menstrual stigma prevalent in South Asian communities.

Along side my fellow team members, we designed and created the Community Engagement Initiative for Amadeus, which included designing parent workshops, organizing alumni spotlights both online and in-person, and creating an e-gift shop. This hands-on experience in strategizing and implementing innovative solutions helped strengthen community ties and addressed specific challenges faced by Amadeus.

I launched the successful podcast 'The RCV Round Table', featuring guests like volunteers, advocates, and politicians to promote ranked choice voting, focusing on youth engagement. I also crafted engaging content for TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram to connect with younger audiences. Collaborating with Rank the Vote's Maryland branch, I contributed to advancing ranked choice voting initiatives statewide, blending digital outreach with grassroots strategies to amplify our message.

Aid asylum status holders with the resettlement process through public benefits like the Refugee Transitional Cash Assistance (RTCA), Medicaid, Social Security, etc. Conduct calls/texts to clients for check-ins and compile case notes for interactions.

Ensure all audience members at events are fully vaccinated for COVID before entering venues.

Created seminars to prepare Nepali middle school students for BCPS magnet school entrance process and exam. Facilitated mentor/mentee relationships between 15 Nepali students in magnet high schools to 30 aspiring middle school students.

Set executive board agenda and led meetings to promote youth volunteerism and leadership. Planned board’s first virtual region-wide summer and winter conferences. Communicated with the Youth Programing Specialist and leads to gain more comprehensive support for the board’s mission. Standardized best practices for clubs to follow for mission-related activities.

I was paired with an at-risk elementary student, helping them academically and personally through activities during the school day. My role focused on supporting their reading skills, social-emotional development, and homework, contributing to their overall success and well-being.
