Senior Full Stack Java Developer
CurrentIn the Bank of America project, my responsibilities included participating in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to deployment and support. I worked on an open-source microservices platform using Java 11, Spring Boot, REST, AWS, Maven, Jenkins, and MongoDB. My tasks involved developing front-end systems using JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS and Angular (8, 9, 10, 12) to create reusable UI components and single-page applications. Additionally, I implemented business logic and data access layers using Java technologies like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. I was responsible for database connectivity using JDBC and Spring Data JPA to interact with MySQL databases and maintaining database schemas and configurations to support application functionality. Utilizing Java 11 features such as lambda expressions and stream APIs for efficient and modern code development, applied object-oriented principles and design patterns to ensure code maintainability and scalability. Automation of build and deployment processes was achieved using Maven, Jenkins, and Docker for continuous integration and delivery. AWS services like EC2, Lambda, and RDS for cloud-based deployment and scalability. Security implementation involved OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization frameworks to secure RESTful web services and APIs, ensuring compliance with security best practices and standards in application development. ReactJS declarative syntax makes it easier to understand and maintain code, which is essential for large-scale banking projects with multiple developers. React can be easily integrated with GraphQL, APIs using libraries like Apollo Client, enabling efficient data fetching and management in banking applications with complex data requirements.
