As a Risk Management Analyst II(Email team), we had to perform 2nd level investigations on the customer accounts and analyze the risk level involved and also communicate to the customers regarding the queries and status of their accounts. We also hand to identify the patterns and behavior of customers and their activities on the account.

As a risk investigator my job role included to investigate and analyze orders placed by customers to minimize fraud and elimination of online eCommerce risk using Fraud Detection skills(those that are placed using stolen credit cards or those orders that are placed using someone else’s account illegally, which lead to huge amounts of loss to the company as they are liable for a refund to the original owners of the cards). The job also demanded me to use available data to build meaningful trends and understanding of fraudulent behavior.Interactions with banks and international customers was an integral part of my role.To identify and find out the potential areas of risks to monitor patterns like charge backs, veteran customers going bad, customer accounts being taken over , money laundering, IP spoofing, Risk analysis for third party merchants and vendors.
