Hi everyone,I'm Nikitha, a graduate student pursuing my MSCS degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I prefer to let my work speak for itself, but here are a few highlights about me:🎶I completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, where I focused on core CS concepts, networks, and artificial intelligence. During my time at VIT, I was actively involved in the Dance Club for three years and contributed to VinnovateIT, a club dedicated to providing study resources for over 10,000 students. My role included working on our app and helping to recruit talented students. Additionally, I assisted the 2023 batch with their campus placements through mock interviews and assessments.🐴My projects have predominantly centered around artificial intelligence, but I have a strong interest in data and cybersecurity. This led me to a second internship at Alshaya Enterprises in Dubai, where I focused on identifying critical vulnerabilities and collaborating with various departments to address them. My experience with jailbreaking during my final year project was particularly enlightening and contributed significantly to my understanding of cybersecurity.🎓In my current MSCS program at UMass Amherst, I'm eager to make impactful contributions in software development and cybersecurity. My coursework includes advanced data assurance, statistics and algorithms, game theory, and fairness—areas I believe will enhance my expertise in these fields, given my background in AI.🧘‍♀️I’m passionate about staying active and continuously improving myself both mentally and physically. I enjoy working on projects that challenge and stimulate me, as I believe this balance is crucial for personal and professional growth.
