I am very energetic, always smiling, optimistic - but far from naïve, happily married to my best friend, and mother of two handsome young men and one beautiful daughter. My daughter has also gifted us with two brilliant & bubbly grandchildren; and for a family whose favorite sport is football - my oldest son has awarded us the pleasure of watching him play in the CFL (Canadian Football League). While college wasn’t for me, my dream growing up was to be like my dad; to be a professional and dress up in nice business attire and have business-like conversations. I had no idea at the young age of 23 Hunter Douglas would be exactly what I was looking for.I joined Hunter Douglas Fabrication Division in 1998 as a Customer Support Representative where I immediately realized I was working for a company that I planned to retire with. Observing the many opportunities to grow within the company I was determined to fill myself with the knowledge of all things Hunter Douglas. That determination still lives in me today while my journey for 20+ years continues.Over the years I held several positions but found my love in sales when I was promoted to District Sales Manager in 2013. I have skillfully balanced organizational objectives by building productive relationships with our dealer partners, strategizing, and recommending ways in which to achieve and maintain sales growth. My leadership and critical thinking talents have awarded me the opportunity to participate on several committees, such as; product launch round tables, Motorization & BI Mobile/SAP Analytics beta technology boards, and communication improvement Kaizen teams - all of which have supported my professional growth. I started my sales career with this company, and I certainly hope my personality, skills, personal & overall growth, and loyalty will contribute to me retiring with this company. There's nothing quite like servicing, maintaining, and increasing existing business by developing professional and trusted relationships with our valued dealer partners.
