I proactively develop new links/relationships with key employers and maintain existing relationships to promote the profile of UCL MAPS students and ensure that the UCL MAPS Faculty remains a preferred source from which to recruit graduates. I manage, design, plan, deliver and chair a programme of employer-led careers sessions, sourcing employer facilitators and promoting the workshops to students. I supervise team members, employers, and students on the day of the event to ensure event runs smoothly.I run 1 to 1 student appointments with UCL MAPS students, providing feedback on the quality of applications.Researching and delivering a range of practical seminars and workshops relevant to graduate job search including CV writing, interview skills, psychometric testing, developing materials and involving external speakers.I monitor information sources for labour market trends and contribute to the employability strategies within the MAPS Faculty and UCL Careers. I build relationships with academic leads within each department of the MAPS Faculty to understand the careers and employability priorities of each department. I manage the Faculty or MAPS Department funded internship programmes acting as a source of expertise for the design and delivery of internship programmes for the faculty. This includes the end-to-end design of any internship programme including recruitment, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding and manage any temporary staff recruited to support me on the scheme. I represent UCL Careers in key Faculty meetings, presenting verbal, and written reports, gathering data from feedback and utilising UCL Careers management system. I ensure MAPS Careers events and internships are “best in class” and gather and analyse feedback for internship programmes and propose changes, where appropriate, responding to student, department and recruiter needs.I create and write promotional literature for events, internships, and vacancies
