Experience in delivering expected project outcomes on time was achieved by gaining project management skills and through effective liaison with both the end customer and my superiors. I gained intricate knowledge on the design and integration of the control system, the operator interface and the electrical and safety systems and gained invaluable experience in quickly learning and utilising a wide range of development platforms.• Developed the entirety of the PLC/ Servo Control & HMI for a 4 axis in house pulveriser disc sharpener for Camden Group (a blunt blade required approx 30 micron ground off the upper surface). This is usually outsourced and completed using a 6 axis CNC machine so throughout the development the set-up procedure had to be established and refined using trial and error and was completed so that the system could be used on any pulveriser disc regardless of the disc radius, number of blades and also unevenness around the surface height, offset angle, or trajectory gradient of the blades. Fully integrated safety technology module and recipe control.• Lead control engineer on a project to commission a new install (Evolution and Multistat) and upgrade/ develop speed-up modifications on an existing machine (Evidence Biochip) for packaging medical supplies for Randox Laboratories Ltd. Also gained further hands on experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification with low tolerances for error.• Hands on fault finding during unscheduled downtime for Montupet UK, Japanese Tobacco International, Randox Laboratories Ltd. & Armstrong Medical Industries Inc.
