I have been an active advocate and coach for the youth and their family's as they go through the first months of recovery from a trauma. I started out advocating after my own experience with sexual and domestic abuse. I volunteered my time speaking at group counseling centers , Rehabilitation centers and Emergency Shelters. By word of mouth I slowly and successfully became a peer mentor for individual youth and I also coached the family so they would also be involved in the clients road to healing. I do phone coaching by text for Crisis support and provide Prevention education. I have gained my education by being a survivor 30 years ago and with online courses and many volunteer hours with a variety of Centers I am a very trusted and emotional intelligence and I am a trusted mentor in this field. I have over 15 individual cases I work with now and also Guest speak focusing on support for parents/guardian so they can successfully know the tools to use and help the loved one as the healing process begins while focusing on being the outlet for the parent/guardian as they deal with the emotional and confusion or guilt they may be feeling . I have mostly just experience with min. Schooling. I am so thankful my life path has gave me the talent and Gift of Speaking with confidence and success in for those who suffer from addiction, Self Harm, domestic violence, sexual trauma. My approach:We are not Broken victims but warriors who will be strong and use the knowledge we learn about ourselves in this journey to become powerful and wise People... Never Alone.
