Create, update, and review documentation for Flyte (OSS) and Union (paid offering).

I participated in a 12-week batch of Recurse Center, a self-directed educational retreat for computer programmers. During this time, I honed my Python and SQL skills through data engineering and data analysis projects.

I created and updated dozens of ETL pipelines using Python and SQL to bring progressive tech tool and voterfile data from CSVs, APIs, and database mirrors into the TMC Redshift database. I also investigated and resolved member issues with ETL pipelines while communicating progress with internal and external stakeholders as needed.Finally, I wrote extensive documentation of internal technical processes and best practices for a variety of audiences, including other engineers and TMC members.

I made documentation updates as needed, and hired and trained a new technical writer.

I rewrote all existing product documentation, wrote new documentation for the Enterprise product, and created a new documentation website in Jekyll, making extensive use of the Liquid template language and YAML.

I documented internal company processes, served as a communications partner to the executive team, drafting updates for multiple communication channels, and wrote and published the weekly company newsletter.

I partnered with engineering teams to document their policies and procedures in Confluence to help them work faster and smarter.I also provided operational support to the Technical Content team in the form of Git troubleshooting and doc publishing process improvements, assembled and released product documentation in MadCap Flare.Finally, on my own initiative, I overhauled the existing new hire process for an organization of 300+ employees, reducing onboarding time from several weeks to two days.

I created a triage system and playbooks for support requests, resolved hundreds of support requests, and created extensive new product documentation for a major product revision.

I created a hiring and onboarding process, and hired and trained three technical writers. I also created the documentation team strategy, and wrote and reviewed documentation using a collaborative, Git-based process.

I wrote and extensively updated product documentation for a Jekyll docs site using a Git-based, collaborative workflow.

I responded to user-reported issues, investigated bug reports, and documented support policies and procedures.
