I began with Granite City working as a server. I quickly moved up to bartending, then onto "AMPing." As a server, I provided excellent customer service skills while exceeding expectations. I soon was asked to bartend without any prior experience in the food/restaurant industry. As a bartender, I was the "front woman." I was constantly putting on a show while expressing care and concern for exceptional customer service. Because I do so well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, I was asked to move up to the AMP (Assistant Manager Program) position. In this position, I was tasked with managing 10-20 employees where I would still provide exceptional customer satisfaction as well as play a role in leadership for my fellow employees. I resolved any issues a guest of the restaurant may have had as well as manage and support the staff working during the shift. I also was responsible for writing schedules for the company and communicate with other management about upcoming events, reservations and expectations for sales.

I began my journey with Mills Fleet Farm as a cashier in the main store. After one year with the company, I moved to the Auto Service Center where I was a Service Advisor. I was, "a woman in a man's world," as most customers would say, and I was the person you would talk to on the phone about recommendations for your vehicle. Before I would contact a customer about recommendations and safety requirements, I would write up work orders, and quotes for the service to be performed. Once the recommendation or service was approved by the customer I would contact our parts supplier to order the parts for the service. After the service was completed, I wrote invoices for the customer and the company for records.

I provided excellent customer service while promoting company sales and expectations, such as car washes, fleet credits cards, etc. I also maintained overall store appearance and stocked shelves for demands.
