• Serve as sole employment counsel of the Company, reporting directly to General Counsel. • Provide employment counseling and strategic support to executive leadership team, human resources, and other business partners on issues relating to recruiting; restrictive covenants; disciplinary actions; disability and FMLA matters; performance management; terminations including reductions-in-force and related adverse impact and WARN issues; employee and contractor classifications; FLSA classifications; OFCCP compliance; and wage claims. • Draft employment-related documents including employment agreements, non-competition agreements, confidentiality agreements, separation agreements, consulting agreements, bonus agreements, personnel policies, and employee handbook.• Manage all employment-related pre-litigation and litigation matters including coordinating discovery responses, conducting investigation, and working closely with outside counsel. • Handle all claims before administrative agencies (such as EEOC, IDHR, and DOL) including conducting investigation and document review, performing legal research, drafting position statements, and representing Company in mediations and fact-finding conferences. • Lead internal investigations across a broad range of legal matters.• Oversee international employment matters, with support of outside counsel. • Create and present training sessions for Human Resources department and management.
