Manager roleBeing a manager is something I have worked towards throughout my career, and I pride myself on my people skills, I can adapt my management style to whomever I am working with at the time and recognize that every individual requires different approach. I don’t like to micro-manage and instead train and develop others and encourage growth, this is where we get some of the best ideas for improvement and innovation. I have always worked to high targets which has not always been easy but have found over the years that no matter what the target or goal is, that it is achievable if you have built a team of people that have the right mindset and a positive can-do attitude. Once you have this we can achieve anything if we work together.Well being coaching I am a qualified well-being coach. Currently I prefer to work on a one to one session as people are a lot more open and honest when they are not in a group setting I also have the opportunity to assess what isn’t being said as my attention is solely on that person. As a coach I work to identify goals and support them on the how they are going to get there and any obstacles that will need overcoming. I have a great sense of achievement seeing others develop and become the best version of themselves. This is something I have been doing at my current workplace and incorporated into my role. After many years of self-doubt I spent a lot of time working on myself and with that I saw great results, but I feel my true purpose is to share what I have learnt with others.
