Leading the TA psychotherapy training course, supporting students to learn and develop personally and professionally.

An as experienced counsellor and coach I am able to balance challenging and supporting individuals, teams and organisations to deliver personal, operational and culture change. Through effective listening I ask thought provoking questions to help people look at situations from another perspective. I blend my Transactional Analysis training with my diverse operational experience and counselling skills to help people improve their self awareness and understanding of blocks in their relationships with others. I build confidence with leaders at all levels to bring more empathy to their leadership and empower them to be comfortable in their own skin. This enables people to improve enjoyment of their job, reduce stress and improve teamwork and efficacy.I am a skilled facilitator and enjoy working with teams to build relationships and host effective meetings and events to create sustainable change. I also work with companies to tailor coaching to meet their needs, design training to support this and deliver workshops in a lively, engaging style. I have a track record of delivering operational results, wide scale complex change programmes and developing people. I am currently progressing a Masters in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and studying Equine Facilitated Learning and Therapy with LEAP. Working as a consultant supporting businesses with strategic transformational projects including - change management- articulation of culture, vision and value proposition- OD design and delivery- programme management- senior stakeholder engagement - leadership training, coaching and performance management - recruitment and succession planning

As part of the Art Therapy team I attend weekly ward rounds to discuss patient progress with the MDT team and the patients themselves. I co-facilitate a weekly open Art Therapy group and support ad-hoc activities such as open days to meet families of patients and help them understand the services we offer.

Responsible for implementing and embedding change projects in 25 stores across North and East London. Engaging with managers and teams to create energy and understand the need for change whilst coaching those meeting with resistance. Acting as a conversational partner to get to the root cause of underperforming teams and supporting these teams to improve performance through team building and challenging conversations. Designing a development programme to provide a talent pool of leaders to ensure no management vacancies following wide scale structure change within stores. Delivering training and workshops and engaging with colleagues to support the programme to ensure sustainability.

Leading a team of up to 25 managers and 300 colleagues to provide excellent service to customers whilst meeting operational standards and managing the day to day running of stores with a turnover of up to £1million per week. Delivering cost lines and improving productivity without impacting customers to achieve profit targets. Developing my team to improve performance and achieve promotion where desired. Creating an environment where people want to get on.

Counselling individual clients struggling with addiction to help achieve their therapy aims whether this be abstinence or reduced usage. Using therapeutic interventions to help the client understand the impact of their behaviour on themselves and others the need for change. Facilitating the Harm Minimisation group, working with a group of up to 8 clients who were still using their drug of choice in a powerful group setting. Safeguarding and working alongside others where necessary eg. GPs, Probation Services and Police.
