My role involves commercial analysis of energy contracts and commodities markets with a specific emphasis on regulation and auditing of the energy markets and their implications to the Veolia business as a consequence of Government change to regulatory policy.Responsibilities include:- Reporting and compliance with the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme - Reconciling the Climate Change Levy (CCL) and Carbon Price Support (CPS) for clients- Reporting and compliance with Climate Change Agreements (CCA) for clients- Reporting and compliance with the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) for clients and internally-Collating data for the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)- Analysing and responding to Government consultations that are relevant to Veolia- Producing quarterly energy briefs and legislative reports to be issued internally and to clients- Providing a monthly financial report for Veolias biomass power plant- Responsible for all Renewable Obligation Certificate (ROC) and Feed in Tariff (FiT) applications and submissions to Ofgem
