I am the payments manager for the community bank in a role that reports to the Board of Directors. In this role, I own and develop the payment products through the full lifecycle. I do this as the leader of cross-functional teams that align the marketing, IT, and operations to maximize the profitability of each solution.I serve as the voice of the customer across the organization to ensure that our product portfolio provides value to customers. I do this with a data-driven approach to prioritizing and adapting the product roadmap. I also collaborate across the matrixed organization to manage the change effectively with stakeholders at every level of the operations. It is my combination of analytical and interpersonal skills that enable me to continuously deliver growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.A few of my achievements include:● Own the payments product portfolio comprised of digital, card, and services for consumer, business, and agricultural clients of the bank.● Negotiated the long-term growth agreement with Visa yielding marketing reimbursements, plastics upgrade credits, and discounts on quarterly fees.● Stood up the new credit card product from the ground-up including partner selection and go-to market that required training of staff and implementation.● Increased interchange revenue and transactions while maintaining minimal charge-off and delinquency rates for multiple consecutive years.● Reports to the board of directors regularly on the product portfolio status including the presentation of the business case for new solutions, market opportunities, and promotional campaigns.

I took on the additional role as loan officer for a few years to meet the increased demand of the market. This capacity was customer facing where I managed and serviced the secondary market loan portfolio. I exceeded expectations in this role with my process-driven approach to delivering high-quality customer experiences and balancing my role as the owner of the payments product portfolio.As a loan officer, I partner with clients to gather the required financial documentation. I analyze the data provided and properly document the loans for underwriting. This requires me to leverage my excellent communication skills and my business acumen to assess and capture profitable opportunities effectively. It is my attention to detail and broader knowledge of the products offered by the organization that enables me to effectively guide clients through the process.Some of my results during this time were:● Stepped in to manage the mid-size loan portfolio including consumer, commercial, real estate, and secondary market products to ensure coverage of the customer needs.● Balanced the needs of customers in the loan operations with the management of the payments products.● Owned the relationship with customers through the full lifecycle by focusing on their needs and maintaining profitability and managing risks.
