I managed a crew of about 8 handling returns and sorting the recycling. This an amazing program as it helps to keep event grounds extremely clean, punters enjoy getting money back (and even making money sometimes), and it helps with recycling sorting being handled immediately.

I organized three groups of 20 or so volunteers to collect aluminum cands from the concert/ festival grounds. I divided the festival into sections and deployed groups. I worked very closely with the waste management company to assure correct can collection and bin availability. The three teams worked 6 hours during the day for three days. We were able to divert nearly 2 tonnes of cans from the landfill.
