Acted as the lead coordinator for multiple online tournaments sponsored by Nintendo of America and run by Battlefy for a gaming series called Splatoon 2.My duties included:> Successfully executing an online tournament with over 2,200 attendees remotely (providing technical support, official rulings, and coordinating a live-stream for the event).> Selecting and coordinating a team of organizers for the event and acting as the go-to for any questions from my team and from attendees. > Maintained and entered detailed records on attendee and winner information while ensuring they were kept up-to-date with any changes to the event itself.

Within a week, I learned to use several internal and external booking systems (Salesforce, Titan, etc) that I had been previously unfamiliar with. I had immediately taken charge of ongoing digital marketing campaigns. This role also involved:> Leading a remote design team in creating and launching custom digital campaigns that include digital display, social and websites for large clients like RBC, Paramount Canada, and many more.> Evaluated and made recommendations to sales teams on best sales practices and campaign pitches.> Analyzed financial reports for discrepancies between products and billing. > Coordinated between sales and marketing teams to ensure clients were receiving products on a timely manner.

As a Customer Service Representative at Ignite, my position held a variety of duties depending on the kind of customer I was handling. From walking students through insurance packages to coordinating large-scale tournament events, my tasks were centered around ensuring a positive experience for those interacting with Ignite. One of the highlights of my time with Ignite was creating a program and rule-set for a tournament (that involved a game I wasn't familiar with) from scratch with only a week or-so before the event itself. It involved research and quick problem-solving, but ensured the event was run efficiently and held a positive experience for attendees.
