Hello! My name is Nikki and I am a third-year student at Michigan State University studying Public Relations with a cognate in Business and a minor in Philosophy and Law. I am a member of multiple student organizations, including the Wharton Center Student Marketing Organization, the Public Relations Student Society of America, the D1 MSU Women’s Ice Hockey Team, and a writer, contributing editor, and director for Roial Players Sketch Comedy. I was elected the fundraising chair for the MSU Women’s Ice Hockey in spring 2023 and was reelected for the 24-25 season. I am responsible for local outreach and campaign planning within the position. This summer I held the position of Marketing Intern at Wharton Center for Performing Arts. There, I have expanded my knowledge in community engagement, event planning, PR writing, and content creation. I am a proponent of hard work, time management, and organization as I maintain a 3.8 GPA and a spot on the MSU Dean’s list while being heavily involved in my student organizations. I am interested in a career in crisis communication or event planning.
