• Review and analyze contracts, policies, correspondence, and other documentation on each claim.• Complete total loss process (e.g., request VIN trace, confirm total loss authorization amount with lien holders and customers).• Perform legal research and approve or deny claims as appropriate.• Gather additional evidence and information from claimants, witnesses, or attorneys.• Conduct virtual inspections and evaluations to determine coverage applicability.• Learn about insurance policies to understand coverage limits and different types of claims.• Collaborate with underwriting and legal departments to ensure accurate claims processes.• Ensure insured and claimant are informed about the status of their claims.• Identify incomplete or fraudulent claims and send them for further investigation to SIU.• Ensure initial contact of property First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims and respond to status inquiries from various parties.• Work the end-to-end claims process and settle claims in compliance with state laws and regulations.• Review and maintain personal diary on claim system.

• Coordinate activities required for the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans/Psychotropic Medication Plans as applicable.• Serve as liaison between program participants, Volunteers of America, families/friends, case managers, subcontractors, etc., to ensure seamless provision of quality services and promote a positive public image.• Assist in recruiting, screening, and selecting landlords.• Ensure all staff/landlords receive required training necessary to perform their job duties.• Complete required documentation, including but not limited to annual assessments, annual support plans, behavior support plans/psychotropic medication plans, monthly monitoring visits, and monthly/quarterly status reports.• Monitor the implementation of all support plans.• Monitor healthcare services to ensure that individuals receive preventative healthcare checkups as outlined in Best Practices and receive all recommended medical follow-up.• Ensure that the program meets DMH/MR Minimum Standards for Community Programs and Medicaid requirements.• Operate services within budgeting requirements.
