Fire risk assessments are essential but as with anything related to health & safety, it isn't always top priority for those running a business, which is why we have made it as simple & straight forward as we can. We recognise that a majority of business owners want to keep their employees & customers safe, they just don't have time to focus on something, that doesn't directly help to bring in business. We can help save time by providing all the tools & information needed to meet what is legally required. We provide templates of fire safety policies, emergency plans, logbooks & free access to basic online fire safety training, all designed to help businesses keep their occupants safe from fire. As well as providing a comprehensive fire risk assessment report, with an action plan, we can also supply a summary report, so all recommendations can be quickly identified & actioned. With the recent focus on Fire safety in buildings and the changes to legislation/guidance which have already happened and those that are going to happen, there is a lot of work to ensure we keep as up to date as possible, to ensure we give our clients the most relevant & current advice. I do enjoy the challenge and find my role within the company very rewarding. It does require a lot of patience/concentration and energy. Gardening/allotment/hiking are my secret passions and I do enjoy spending days digging/growing and spending time out in the open. Life is a balance and whilst I could probably spend 24/7 doing work related tasks, as there is always something new to learn, it is good to have an outside interest, to allow your brain to switch off..
