Nikki joined Wavehill in 2020 following completion of her doctoral research in Landscape Archaeology at University of Exeter. Prior to this she worked within the heritage sector (both as a field archaeologist and as a curator of the National Monuments Record of Wales). Nikki is well-versed at engaging and working with professionals, stakeholders and communities. She has been on the committee of Council for British Archaeology Wales since 2013 and was newsletter editor from 2017-2024. She is also co-founder and Secretary of Menter Silian Community Benefit Society. As a Consultant at Wavehill, Nikki specialises in evaluating heritage and community development projects across Wales and the UK, including NLHF projects aiming to engage local communities in their local heritage and bolster the long-term resilience of their organisations. This includes the co-production of Theory of Change/logic models and supporting organisations to embed data capture and evaluation techniques into their day-to-day practice.
