As a seasoned HR professional with over 15 years experience I derive my energy and passion from making the employees successful. I began my HR career as an Employment Coordinator in a small rural hospital 15 years ago, before that I was in limbo trying to figure out my career plans. I never imagined myself in HR because after 4 years of college I was supposed to be an elementary school teacher, obviously life had a different plan. I worked in a hospital setting for 3 years with my primary focus on recruitment and onboarding of Nurses. From there I relocated to NC where I started with Sava Senior Care in their Durham facility as their HR Coordinator in 2010. Here is where my HR career took off, I was able to grow in the HR world of recruitment, retention, onboarding, employee relations, staff training/compliance and mediation. I have grown from a one facility HR Coordinator to a District HR Director supporting multiple facilities/states.
