Hi there, I’m Nikki - a charity leader with over 20 years experience in founding, leading and developing social impact organisations including Make Birth Better, Wings for Life, 10 of zen and READ International.As a leader I place people at the heart of everything I do. I love to bring people together, nurture high-performing teams and grow engaged communities with a strong sense of belonging. The unique collective of 1000’s of parents and professionals we have built at Make Birth Better is the most passionate community of changemakers I have ever co-created. As a social entrepreneur I get my kicks from bringing innovative ideas to life which solve problems, generate new revenue streams and drive meaningful change. My team at Wings for Life UK successfully leveraged Red Bull’s corporate assets for social good raising £2 million per year for medical research. Our signature “Wings for Life World Run” launched in 2014 and YTD over 1 million participants in 195 countries have taken part. I’m also incredibly proud to be a mum to three kids and confidently confirm that parenting is the most challenging job I have ever done. My passion for maternal mental health comes from my own experiences of motherhood, neurodiversity and postnatal PTSD.
