This team provides advice, coaching and support to all team members and line managers within the Woolworths Group relating to payroll queries, people systems queries, EBA or policy interpretation and performance and employee relations matters.

With 900 Supermarkets and 117,000 employees the team were responsible for leading and implementing best practice HR initiatives including but not limited to; reward and recognition, engagement initiatives, performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition and strategic talent management, learning and development and increasing capability across all roles.

Leading the National HR team and responsible for the BWS people strategy including driving operational and transformational people initiatives, shaping culture to increase team engagement and performance.During this time we implemented a significant strategic and transformational project transitioning all Woolworths Liquor (attached to Supermarket) stores (approx. 600) to BWS stores. BWS is a retail network with circa 1200 sites around the country with 7,000 team members.
