- Partner with product managers and designers to drive future growth of department by achieving and exceeding targets. - Work in constant collaboration with global sourcing, marketing, allocation and visual to grow the brand. - Participate in the product development process and selection (styling, fabrics, colors, fits).- Help team build monthly collections for both store and ecom channels according to trends and allocated budget.- Manage purchase orders, review order confirmations and ensure on-time delivery.- Demonstrate an understanding and participate in the product cycle calendar to ensure deadlines are met.- Analyse sales reports to better understand customer.- Ensure products are well show cased online with accurate product information and photos.- Analyze key competitors and identify trends that are relevant to the brands customer and suggest actions to help grow the business.- Communicate business related issues to the Product Managers in a timely manner.- Participate in the training and development of merchandise assistants and/or interns. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the brand and their target clientele. - Participate in meetings by identifying missed opportunities and making appropriate suggestions for change.- Maintain efficient relationship with domestic vendors. - Organize and manage samples from previous/current collections and samples sent by vendors for fit/color purposes.I specialize in sleepwear but I also have experience in accessories.
