Leads a vibrant team of experiential education and STEM experts in building the next chapter in Thompson Island’s historic commitment to innovative educational opportunities for Boston youth.

I lead, coach and manage 300 field staff in 21 Boston Public schools. In collaboration with BPS district and school leadership, community and public partners we develop and implement systems that leverage City Year Members to support student academic improvement, build staffing capacity and improve school climate. My responsibilities also include leading on the design City Year Boston's social justice, diversity and inclusion programming, mentoring staff members and serving as a member of internal and external board committees.

My responsibilities included managing partnerships with 14 Boston Public Schools and leading City Year Boston's shift in service priorities and delivery. This included redefining and streamlining our service model, marketing the changes to partners and stakeholders and leading our service department through a strategic change management plan.

I designed and implemented high profile physical events for partner companies across the US and internationally. I managed our national partnership with CSX and global partnership with PepsiCo. I also implemented and supported projects for The Timberland Company, Cisco Systems and T-Mobile.

I developed and coordinated the implementation of City Year’s service model at its inaugural rural site and coordinated the implementation of a multi-regional growth plan. My responsibilities included leading our training team, grant management, implementing our evaluation system, corporate and community partnership management, supervising and coaching 40 staff and AmeriCorps members.

I performed over 3,400 hours community service, developed and implemented civic leadership programs for 150 middle and high school students and led a team of 12 Corps Members through a year of service.
