I am a sophomore in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and I am working toward a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and a concentration in International Business. My problem-solving skills help me to be a very good leader, as I tend to see both sides of an argument or issue and use logic or past experiences to resolve it. Additionally, I strive to create and find enjoyment in close relationships with others, which allows me to be a valuable team member, as I find satisfaction in working hard within teams to achieve a common goal. As a result, relationship-building among colleagues and customers is a strength of mine. At my part-time job at Plato’s Closet, I am often selected by my manager to train new employees because of my leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and knowledge of various roles and tasks. I am interested in understanding economies around the world and how different cultures require different investment and banking strategies. I traveled a lot in middle and high school, visiting 5 different countries and numerous states in the US, and plan on traveling abroad next year. My experiences showed me how markets and economies work in different countries and how some trends hit certain places first. My career goal after college is to work for Morgan Stanley or a similar investment banking company in New York, as I am from New Jersey and have always wanted to work in the city.
