From this development, my role then further evolved to ‘Client Partnership Executive’, which encapsulated my duties of setting up contra partnerships with relevant parties. It was through this role that I truly learnt the value of aligning your brand to create an extension, or change perceptions of what already exists. I also learned what I could offer in client solutions through the blogging and social media platform I created with my cousin, States of Style.

My ability to manage both people and events then led to my role shifting to the Executive Assistant for the Melbourne Sales Director. This involved managing a sales support team of ten, as well as arranging both internal events for our staff and client events in market. This experience allowed me to further develop relationships with key clients within the Melbourne media market.

After working in retail and promotional roles for various brands, I moved into a role with the street team at Perth commercial radio station 92.9. I worked in this role through my years of university study, which I believe gave me a great introduction to radio as the face of the business. I was studying marketing at the time, and therefore I could see the true value in the tangibility of the product through the team, and I enjoyed brining the brand to life in association with clients.In 2008 I made the move to Melbourne after being offered the role of Sales Co-ordinator for the direct sales team and then later within the agency team at Nova Entertainment. Through this role I came to understand all the elements of a successful on air campaign, from the initial concept, to how to implement it, and then how to measure its effectiveness.
