Since a young age, I always found myself working as a part of a team. Whether that was playing the Mom role in “house”, starting a lemonade stand with my neighbors, or making up funny dances with my friends, being a part of a team has been an important part of my life. During my time in high school, I played hundreds of volleyball matches where working with your team is necessary if you want to be successful. I'm thankful for the experiences from my past that have taught me how to understand new perspectives, how to become more supportive of my peers, and the value of communication. As a freshman at the Kelley School of Business, learning how to take initiative has proved to be one of the most important skills that I've learned so far. Being a part of such a prestigious program is showing me what I need to do to become the most successful version of myself. Making connections with classmates and professors is one of the most important steps I've taken so far. Even now, creating this profile, I'm learning how to present myself in the best way possible. In the future, I desire to work in marketing because it will allow me to share my creativity with others. I hope to always be in an environment that accepts and promotes originality. Knowing that the product of my ideas can lead to success is one of the most encouraging and rewarding motivators for me. I'm looking forward to my next few years at Indiana University and all that they will teach me!
