I am an experienced and qualified Person Centred Counsellor working in private practice with adults and young people. I bring a professional, committed and open approach to my work, creating a safe space to explore concerns or issues. Prior to training as a counsellor I worked both in Social Care and in Further Education settings. I have a deep interest in earth based issues alongside cultivating new ways of bringing more presence in to my life.I hold a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling alongside an Advanced Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents. I have also undertaken Somatic Trauma Training (Babette Rothschild) and utilise tools for supporting clients with trauma histories in my practise. I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred), receive professional supervision and undertake regular CPD.I also work as a freelance photographer and film maker living in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Having initially trained in Architecture I went on to obtain a PGCE and in the capacity of Art Co-ordinator furthered my career working for various Charities and NGO's both in the UK and abroad. I since continued my studies undertaking a masters in Photography at Central St Martin's.In 2005 I set up LIGHT CREATIONS; and for the past seven years have been undertaking a range of film and photographic commissions for a variety of organisations as well as producing my own work for exhibition and performance.
