My name is Nikki Skomal and I am the Director of Commercial Design for JH Interior Design Studio in Omaha, NE. While I am the newest addition to the JH team, I am in no way new to the design world! With over 12 years of experience in designing commercial interiors, I have worked on just about every project type from hospitality, to dental, healthcare and even some amazing workplaces. Through the process, I have learned a million and one tricks of the trade contribute that knowledge to every project I work on.If you were to corner me and ask where my passion truly lies, I would say connecting interiors with a recognizable and exciting brand identity that truly provides an experience for every user. This passion stemmed primarily from my graduate work at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where I focused on branding restaurants and nightlife for young urban professionals in a learning from Las Vegas style.Since my commencement as an interior designer, I have assisted at least 200 clients across the nation in creating a spaces that they love and their customers can identify. I even have a few awards to show for it!
