• In my previous role at the HEA I was responsible for the promotion & development of the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR – www.hear.ac.uk), including forming effective relationships & strategic partnerships.
• Working with the CEO & COO on national level strategy (researching & synthesising policy & practice from across the sector, writing HEA thought pieces), for the Teaching Excellence Framework.
• Designing, building & testing new products, such as ‘HEAtoZ’ (a glossary of learning & teaching terms & toolkits aimed at front-line HE professionals), starter tools, infographics & eBooks).
• Introducing an agile product development process; embedding a user-testing approach to enable continuous improvement of the website.
• Developing value propositions & technical requirements for an online membership area.

I created a content inventory of the department's website, as well as an audit of the digital and social media outputs, in order to make recommendations about how the department could improve their online presence and communications.

Lead ‘Introduction to Museum, Heritage and Gallery Studies’, a first year undergraduate module for the ‘Media, Communication and Cultural Studies’ BA. This involved writing and delivering lectures; designing and leading seminars; organising and running field-trips; marking assignments; holding office hours; responding to student enquiries; module.

To deliver a desk-based audit of local authority strategies for both Children and Young People and Arts and Culture. To develop a pilot methodology for collecting and recording this information. To pilot this methodology for strategies across Cumbria and Merseyside.
