Bookkeeping: Review, reconcile, and resolve issues related to account payables/receivables.Generate reports and statistics reflecting financial performance, profits, cash balances, or other financial results.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Yardi, Appfolio, and Quickbooks.Participate in the monthly accounting close cycle and ensure that all deadlines are met.Perform journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.Reconcile various company-wide bank accounts.Consistently look to implement efficiencies in processes and procedures by making recommendations to Director of Accounting.Understand business transactions and ensure that transactional activities are complete and coded accurately.Credit card bookkeeping/tracking.Assist with weekly check runs.Assist with monthly ACH payments.Assist with End-of-Month closing.Assist in preparing the bank reconciliations for all related entities including all cash and credit card variances including retrieving receipts for disputes, charge backs, review of all electronic transfers, etc.Maintain general ledger and resulting managerial reports and financial statements.Other duties as assigned by management.
