Scc Product Analyst IiSutter Community Connect Apr 2012 - May 2022The SCC Product Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in various SCC product functionalities, be able to analyze existing business operations and/or client processes to identify efficiency improvements,clinical best practices, and cost effectiveness for SCC clients, SCC product and the SPS organization. This position analyzes highly complex product requests / upgrades where analysis of situations, or requests, requires an in-depth evaluation of various technical factors and/or product functionality requiring technical analysis. This position exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in support of SCC client best practice workflows, internal SPS team needs, and for the purpose of managing and planning system changes and upgrades to the SCC product. This position serves in a consultant role for advanced level on-site client workflow analysis, documentation of findings, and presentation of recommendations to SCC clients on efficiency improvements towards optimizing the practice’s use of the Sutter EHR.The SCC Product Analyst reports directly to the AD, IPS and works closely with Medical Directors, BSD, CSD and SPS leadership. This position may informally lead other IPS / SPS team members on various projects.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement lead to improve practice performance which increases quality of patient care, service, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. The clinical optimization analysts (“CO”) work with practices post-implementation in order to empower those practices to advance to the next level. The team focuses on creating an environment of continuous improvement via:• Advancing Clinical Decision Support (CDS) leading to improved quality of care• Demonstrating Key Performance Indicators (KPI) / Outcome & Quality Metrics driving continuous improvement(I.e. CPOE utilization rates, Quality metrics, Meaningful Use metrics, MHO sign up rates, secure messaging rates, chart closure rates, chart open-to-close rates, , etc…)• Recommending enhanced process Efficiencies to decrease overall healthcare delivery cost and improve the satisfaction of our patients and providersClinical optimization (“Clin Opz”) will achieve these patient care improvements by: • Monitoring KPI along with other metrics in coordination with AM for all practices in the Transition phase (stabilization) to determine the practices readiness for optimization or need for rounding back (remediation)• Performing round-backs for remediation support and Optimizations to advance the practice’s performance• Identifying and communicating practice specific opportunities for optimization in with quality metrics, KPI, and other practice management reports aimed to measure the productivity and efficiency• Providing recommendations to further improve clinical and front desk workflows via new and/or advanced use of SCC-Epic functionality• Collaborating with stakeholders to continuously improve processes to enhance patient care • Leveraging resources including SCC AM/IA liaisons, physician champions, user groups, and knowledge management Sharepoint site
