As a Digital & CRM Manager Nordic I am responsible for Viking Line Club's marketing and sales at Group level and the content on the Finnish website. I am responsible for a creative team of eight people, Currently I am also the Project Manager for our data driven project which is one of the biggest projects in the company. This is a long-term project where the company is aiming to be more data driven and use data in a better way. We are trying to improve the customer journey with the help of data and automations so we add business value for the company. We work with a consultant agency and I am the the project manager on the Viking Line side that make sure that we fullfil our goals.

As a CRM Specialist I’m taking part in different development projects regarding marketing and IT.The biggest project that I work on and have worked on during the last year is a complete renewal of Viking Lines loyalty program Viking Line Club. During February 2017 we launched the first step of our renewal of our old loyalty program. We went from being a discount program to a reward/bonus program with two different levels. During 2017 our customers got the possibility to collect bonus/points from their purchases with us but this was just the first phase in the project. During February 2018 we took the next big step in the project when we launched the possibility to buy trips with your bonus which took the loyalty program to a new level. As a member of the Marketing Project Team I took part in the creation of the renewed concept and played an important role when we did both our launches 2017 and 2018. Alongside the work with the Marketing Project Team I have also worked as a business contact to our IT Department and worked closely with them since it was my responsibility that our new IT System LS-Retail and its Member Management Modul supported our concept e.g. we built in an own solution for the upgrade/downgrade between the different levels in the loyalty program. I was one of the persons that did all the testing of the new solution so we could make sure that the new system worked properly so we could do the launch to the customers. The testing and developing of the new system took most of my time during 2017 since it included development of the new system so it met our standards and then the switchover from the old system to the new system. Since a loyalty program always needs new development I am currently working on future development and looking how we can improve the loyalty program even more.
