Hi there! I’m Niklas, your startup ecosystem & communications expert at the German Energy Agency (dena). By day, I’m immersed in Start Up Energy Transition (SET), a global innovation platform supported by dena and the World Energy Council, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. We’re here to back climate tech, clean tech, and energy startups as they lead the charge in the global energy transition.My focus? Building startup ecosystems that thrive, creating the stories that make innovation stick, and shouting about the big wins from the rooftops (metaphorically—unless the rooftop has solar panels). When I’m not helping startups take over the (clean) energy world, I’m a vocal participant in discussions on startup ecosystems, energy innovations, and anything that brings fresh ideas to the table.
