Seedi is a consulting agency working with projects in business strategy, process development, digitalization, and sales & marketing mainly with Finnish large & mid-sized companies but also supporting startups. In 2018 (except for the summer) as a Project Manager, my work included managing projects with support from one of Seedi's Directors. I managed 6 projects including projects like strategy, service development and sales strategy. I was also in the new ventures team making the investment decisions and helping current portfolio companies!

Working as an analyst in several projects of Seedi. Compared to my previous position as a project worker I was also helping out in the sales process and had more responsibilities in our projects. In addition to consulting Seedi also founds startups and invests in early-stage ventures. I also worked with our startup portfolio. It was great to observe several early-stage start-ups and how their day to day work is.

Working as a part-time trainee in several projects of Seedi. The work included various tasks in all kinds of projects and especially working as an analyst. The best for me is that I gained experience from various tasks. Also getting to work with the customers from day one was exciting.

Woodly is a cleantech company aiming to replace plastics with wood based materials. I worked for Woodly as a Market Analyst. It was an exciting experience for me since the company is on such a great mission and as I also learned a lot. My tasks included:- Conducting a market research and market entry strategy for the first products of Woodly- Preparing materials for raising a funding round- Working together with the CEO of the company in various business issues like branding and sales strategy

Like my last summer job I was working as a sales assistant and my responsibility was to manage the whole logistic chain from the customer's order to the delivery's arrival. In situations where we had problems with the delivery I communicated with warehouse, logistics department and customer in order to find a solution suitable for all parties. Additionally I supervised the billings of the customers. The work was mainly done utilizing the SAP -system.In addition to last summer when I worked with customers in Finland, Sweden, Germany and UK, now I also worked with customer in Denmark and Norway. Compared to last summer I was allowed to do my work more independently as I already had some knowledge. The experience was rewarding as I had to take full responsibility and make decisions on my own.

Espoo

During my second year of studies I worked as an assistant at the university for two courses. I was a teaching assistant at the Industrial Engineering and Management's basics course. The course includes basics of business models, accounting, marketing and business processes. The course also includes a case exercise of founding a company. I held small lectures for groups of 30 students, advised them with their excerices and reviewed them. I got to deepen my knowledge of the theme and also teaching in front of a class was new experience. As an assistant of the Department of Computer Science I worked on a basics programming course (Language mainly Scala). The job included advising the students with their projects and reviewing them. While being an assistant I gained experience in communicating the basics of programming and how to identify the common problems of beginner programmers.

I worked as a tennis coach for amateur tennis players. I coached various players as the youngest were 5 years old and the eldest over 60. The work teached me a lot how to deal with very different kind of people. The job was a natural way to start my working career since I had played tennis competitively my hole youth.
