Vice President
Current- Support leading companies and nonprofits in communicating their work on environmental sustainability issues, such as climate change, renewable energy, sustainable finance and biodiversity, to various audiences, including opinion elites, customers, employees and investors - Work across internal and client teams to develop integrated communications plans, provide project management and create impact reports for sustainability-related announcements and communications campaigns- Develop message platforms and produce written content, including media talking points, briefing documents, speeches, social media posts, digital communications and content for employee-facing platforms- Manage proactive and reactive media relations on environmental sustainability issues for two Fortune 50 companies, developing media strategies, building media relationships and securing interviews and coverage with national publications, including Bloomberg, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and industry media such as GreenBiz and S&P Global Market Intelligence- Provide strategic counsel and other support to a Fortune 30 company’s environmental sustainability team on program development and issues management- Identify, secure and prepare executives for speaking opportunities- Write copy for and work with designers to create visual assets, including one-pagers, visual graphics, social cards and GIFs- Manage junior staff members on projects
