Introduced the Motorola product life cycle management model M-Gates. Driver of TL9000 certification of the business unit including documentation and improvement of all processes. Certification passed without major findings, and with a number of strengths (every year since then).

Introduced nightly builds, which later turned into continuous builds. Developed a web based system for accessing and managing builds, integrated with the source code management system.As part of a total rewrite of the set top box software, developed a completely new make and build system with automated unit test integration. Migrated the source code management system from CVS to Subversion. Definition of processes for configuration management.Investigations and requirement work.
