I am currently the President for NIKAB Consultancy and the Director for ISDP. NIKAB specialises on Strategic advice, Business intelligence, Relation-building, Networks, Negotiation and Mediation as well as Risk analyses. ISDP’s work aims at providing strategic analysis and practical solutions to assist decision-makers in both public and private sectors to achieve their goals. ISDP holds firm to the conviction that an understanding of international affairs requires a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the culture and history of regions and countries under study, and continuous interaction with a broad cross-section of these societies. My dissertation dealt with regional cooperation and conflict management in the Pacific Rim. I also holds a Licentiate degree from the Department of Peace and Conflict research that examined the Chinese foreign policy towards Southeast Asia as well as MA degrees from Uppsala University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.Research Focus: Conflict prevention, conflict management and regional cooperation; Chinese foreign policy and security in Northeast Asia; supply chain security, Disinformation, cyber security, and its effect on regional and national security as well as negotiations. The focus is mainly on Northeast Asia, Central Asia and Southeast Asia.
