Espoon kaupunki työllistää noin 10 000 henkilöä.Kehittämispäällikkönä ensi sijaiset tehtäväni liittyivät kaupungin strategian (Espoo-tarinan) valmisteluun, strategia- ja tavoitejohtamisen kehittämiseen, johtoryhmätyöskentelyn tukitehtäviin sekä kaupunkipoliittisiin tehtäviin. Näiden lisäksi olin mukana monenlaisissa muissa tehtävissä kuten digitalisaatiota edistävissä projekteissa liittyen niin älykaupunkikehitykseen kuin hyvinvointitiedon kehittämiseen.

Hoas has nearly 19 000 tenants and over 10 000 apartments near study institutions in Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and Kauniainen. Hoas is a non-profit foundation that works in cooperation with the student unions of the University of Helsinki and Aalto University.

Otaverkko Oy is a telecommunications and information technology consultancy and service company founded in 1997 in Otaniemi. Net sales in 2020 were approximately EUR 3.3 million.

The alumni network board that represents alumni and different alumni organisations, and brings forward the alumni's views on the university’s long-term development, such as strategy work. It also supports the establishment of new associations for groups, or geographical areas where alumni activities are not yet in place.

Aalto University Student Union (AYY) is a 15 000 members strong student organization. AYY has about 50 employees and around 200 volunteers. AYY has property and investments a bit more than 150M€ and an annual budget of 17M€.As an Executive Manager I am leading the management team and am responsible for most of the operations at AYY. In my role I have been responsible of 1.5M€ annual budget related to services, advocacy, events, communications, IT and HR. My main task is to ensure that different teams are going towards what is set in our strategy. I am leading around 20 employees and I’m responsible for over 300 volunteers. My main achievements: During my time as an Executive Manager I have learned a lot about leading organization, employees and teams. I have gained experience of creating strategy and implementing it. I have been involved in making organization changed to match teams better to implementing strategy. I have recruited more than 20 employees in different tasks.

TEK is the largest organisation for academic engineers and architects in Finland, with a membership of 73,000. TEK represent 70 percent of working graduate engineers. Members also include physicists, mathematicians, IT specialists and students. TEK is the second largest organisation affiliated to Akava, Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland. My main achievements in this position was to participate and contribute to the project (which included several recent graduates) which goal was to give new ideas to the union on how to increase relevance of the union for recent graduates.

I did my Thesis for TEK about the employment of international students who have graduated from Finland with a master’s degree, researching reasons why the employment rate is so low and how it could be increased. My main findings were that the lack of crucial networks and the need for Finnish language are the main barriers for employment. While I did my thesis I learned a lot about job markets and its dynamics.

As a chairman I was responsible of a ten person board. Me and the board had almost 50 employees and around 200 volunteers to lead. AYY has property and investments a bit more than 100M€ and an annual budget of 15M€. Most of the income comes from the profits of the investments and the membership fees, as AYY has 14 000 members. As a president I was responsible of the budget and all the projects in the plan of action. In the year 2015 we had 55 different project varying from keeping up the relations to China, Beijing to arranging the annual ceremony for all Aalto students. The position is more than full time, consisting of meetings, project work, guiding and sparring, stakeholder meetings and leading. As a chairperson I learned lot about working under stress and making responsible choices affecting the members of AYY. I got a lot of experience on how to lead team members with big projects and how to help them achieve their goals and how to create an atmosphere where people enjoy their workMain achievements during my time as a Chairman: Starting student center project with KY ry and TF. Participating in the strategy update of Aalto University. Participating in the national campaign of students related to general elections of Finland. Having the privilege to cap the Manta. Giving several speeches on the behalf of the Aalto students. Participating in the move of all of the bachelor students of business to Otaniemi. Creating concrete physical improvements to Otaniemi Campus to increase encounters. Establishing AYY's honorary council.

As a member of the board my responsibilities were communication, spaces and associations. I was responsible for developing these areas and keeping contact to AYY’s 200 associations. Time in the board also requires broad knowledge about all of the activities at AYY. Main achievements during my time in the board: Finalizing the deal of selling Dipoli to the University. completing first AYY's new student house building to Otaniemi. Creating co-operation framework agreement with the University. Planning the move of the business students to Otaniemi. My main achievements in my position: During my time in the board I was involved creating and planning marketing videos (about AYY's benefits and volunteering). I also had a first experience dealing with funds and law related to funds (TTER). In addition to these I was involved in the process of making new pointing systems for AYY's associations to gain funding and to apply club spaces.

As a Key Account Engineer (KAE) I had responsibility of three to five large customer’s network solutions and developing those solutions. The job also included selling new products of TDC to the customers. In addition to the technical responsibility by support in sales the job required eye to enhance the customer experience with cooperation with the customer and different departments at TDC. As KAE I learned a lot about seeing the bigger picture and understanding how different actions relate to other matters. My main achievements: During my time as KAE I had the possibility to create improved services for my clients. For one of the customers, I created more automated fault handling which corrected basic issues by itself. I also received good feedback from all of my customers with an average of 5 GPA for customer satisfaction.

As Network Engineer I was responsible for fixing the networks of TDC’s customers. I was mostly involved with technologies from Cisco and Juniper and their firewalls, routers and switch configuration.My main achievements: During my time as a Network Engineer I also made education materials for the first level service team. This was to help them understand and solve more problems over the phone. This helped increase customer satisfaction and reach SLA requirements more efficiently.

As an Account Trainee my job was to make first contact to new prospects. During this job I gained lot of experience of negotiation with clients. During my main job, I also helped our customer data team to improve their system to be more helpful for sales.Main achievements: During my time in this job I won several different sale competitions and gained different kind of bonuses.
