With over 25 years' experience I have worked in print, broadcast and online media, in established media organizations, start-ups and re-launches. I have held positions in Russian, German and international media ranging from correspondent to editor-in-chief and published on a wide variety of subjects including politics, human rights issues, social and cultural topics, travel and lifestyle.My articles have been published by Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Die Welt, TAZ, Der Tagesspiegel, Forbes Russia, Open Democracy/oDR, Snob.ru and elsewhere. I took part at media research projects and numerous conferences and expert meetings on new media, Russian and Eastern European politics. I hosted a weekly show on a German Russian-language TV station OstWest. I consulted companies, media institutions and NGOs on editorial and SMM topics.I have developed and implemented editorial standards for both style and quality that are used by writing and editorial teams. I have organized and lead a number of editorial teams, hired and trained young journalists. Experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with civil society actors and partner organization. In addition, I have worked closely with software and design contractors.
