Participated in early planning stage of social media healthcare startup. Involved health and social media industry research, multiple conference calls, and a live meeting at the D.C. offices to present my findings.Tasked with developing the first business plan and worked with the core team to create a comprehensive business plan that was used to help raise early stage funding from investors. Created several value proposals for pitches to prospective clients in the healthcare industry.

Co-creator of the Digital Frontiers (IDH 3931) inaugural class during the Spring of 2010. The class was the first at UF to delve into the effects of globalization and social media on the business world. It focused on bringing in guest speakers who were experts in their respective fields, ranging from local entrepreneurs to Silicon Valley venture capitalists. For the final project, students developed social media marketing plans for 7 local businesses (ranging from non-profits to restaurants to educational programs). The effects were far reaching as two groups were featured in the local news and three students were eventually hired into social media roles based on their experience.
