A social lab project designed by Kaospilot Team 24. 218.000 tons of natural resources are disposed of every year in Copenhagen, only to end up in a landfill, being incinerated or downcycled to a lower quality. At Copenhagen Circularity Lab, we believe that everyone can win on utilizing resources better. Copenhagen Circularity Lab contributes to a long-term effort of reinventing the economy of natural resources in Copenhagen. It is initiated by KAOSPILOT students with Sydhavn Recycling Center (City of Copenhagen) as the initial collaborator.As part of KAOSLAB, we push the boundaries of collaboration for rapid action on urgent challenges in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Malmö, and Oxford.

At Roskilde Festival 2018 the Danish electronic musician and artist Lydmor created an immersive performance at KlubRå where she mixed a technological futuristic neon universe with the form of the human body. Both on herself, a group of performers – and on the audience.With the use of special blacklight body paint, lamps and performers, the rhythms of the music were not only pumping out of the speakers but also pulsating on the skin of Lydmor herself, as well as a group of performers placed around the room.Festival-goers had the opportunity to become part of the light installation themselves by showing up in the hours leading up to the concert and paint themselves.Technology, skin, light, neon and gender fluidly merging into each other. My role was project managing the two shows, and making sure everything ran smoothly both before, while and after the shows. Including concept, rehearsals and planning. Lydmor herself made this recommendation: "Nikolaj worked as a project leader on my performance art piece on Roskilde Festival, and did an amazing job! Coordinating a big crew, under quite chaotic and hectic circumstances, he kept his cool and was always a good energy, encouraging everyone and making sure there was a safe and secure space for people to perform their best. Props for great and calm vibes no matter what, and for navigating in a sea of chaotic festival."
