Full financial responsibility for the Natural Color Division in Chr. Hansen A/S with annual turnover of +220 EURm, 500 FTEs and 5 production site globally. Key contributor in driving transformation of the business resulting in topline growth of +10% p.a. and EBIT improvement of 100% over 3 years.

Responsible for driving the Business Finance agenda for performance management and value creation for Supply Operation EMA&HQ. Responsible for driving the financial analysis concerning the development and operation of Biomass Conversion and to serve as a thrusted advisor for our industry strategy group in all financial matters. Overall, my task is to equip the group with key financial analysis to be able to undertake the right decisions. This requires being the cross field that ties key technical and commercial information together and puts it into a financial perspective. Biomass Conversion focuses on our 2G ethanol and bio-chemicals segments, and is one of Novozymes major growth platforms. The position is divided into two areas of responsibility. The first areas is to have an overall understanding of the financials and its implications on the Enzyme Business and being able to deliver in-depth basis of decision analysis and for our senior management. The second area is being a trusted advisor for our Bioenergy Industry Strategy Group, with a focus on our 2G ethanol and bio-chemicals segments (www.bioenergy.novozymes.com). Here I’m responsible for the financial modeling, which has included acquisitions, new business models, strategic investment analysis, partnership analysis, etc.. In general my task is to equip the group with financial analysis to be able to undertake the right decision. I have acquired a broad level of knowledge in various finance disciplines, ranging from financial planning and analysis to accounting. As a part of my graduate programme I have been stationed outside Beijing in the finance department of one of our main production affiliates.

I was responsible for promoting the talent network in the eastern part of Denmark and to give my input on the overall strategy and whether we where moving in the right direction.

Worked as a management consultant at Accenture on a project for a Danish NGO, with the focus to develop a corporate fundraising strategy. This included development of an assessment of the market and current operations. The project resulted in core recommendations that were communicated to the steering group with the aim of implementation.
